BetteSensory eliminates the need for a visible overflow in baths by combining the waste and overflow in a single element that is installed out of sight under the bath. In order to be able to realise this aesthetic and functional added value on its steel/enamel baths, Bette collaborated with the drainage expert Viega on the development of the new electronic waste and overflow system BetteSensory.

The operating method is absolutely straightforward for the user. In order to run a bath, all they have to do is press on the click valve to close the outlet and let the water run in. The electronics take care of the rest. A sensor is constantly checking the water pressure, and automatically opens the drain for a moment as soon as the pressure exceeds a pre-set maximum level. This regulates the level of the bath effectively and safely and prevents the bath from overflowing should the user forget to turn off the water in time. The maximum water level is pre-set at the factory, and can be adjusted to the size of the bath and the user’s individual preferences on installation. Bette has also considered what to do in the event of a power cut. In this case, a back-up battery switches on to ensure a smooth transition.
The operating method and construction of BetteSensory are now explained in the easy-to-understand video animation.
