Baufritz, le spécialiste des maisons écologiques, allie tradition, technologie et idées nouvelles dans sa maison-témoin Alpenchic. Cela implique l'utilisation de produits naturels en bois, en acier et en verre, sans parler de la cave dédiée au recyclage ni du concept d'autonomie énergétique, basé sur la technologie des piles à combustible, sur le photovoltaïque et sur une éolienne dans le jardin. Ainsi, une alimentation autonome du bâtiment est possible.
