L'architecte d'intérieur Jean-Philippe Nuel a souhaité mettre en œuvre un luxe tout en sobriété pour la rénovation de l'ancien hôpital sur les bords du Rhône. La somptueuse façade classique date du 18e siècle et a longtemps valu à ce bâtiment le titre de plus bel hospice de France. Les travaux ont duré six ans pour cette rénovation privée, la plus importante jamais entreprise en France pour un bâtiment classé monument historique. À présent, l'hôtel propose 144 chambres et suites à même de satisfaire les exigences les plus élevées, un exemple réussi de design moderne et de grandeur historique. Lors de l'aménagement, Jean-Philippe Nuel a opté pour les baignoires BetteStarlet Oval Silhouette. © Eric Cuvillier
