Windmühle Bradford

Ottmarsbocholt, Germany

The listed Bradford Windmill is now a private residence with a purist, modern interior.

Living in a monument

the windmill at Ottmarsbocholt was still used for grinding corn until the 1970s. Today, the listed building is home to Jeannette and Alfred Bradford. A place with its own special charm: the 200 square metres extend over four floors, and the walls are round - with no corners or edges at all. A plain table, leather sofa and metal shelves now stand under the wooden ceiling with solid beams where horse-drawn carriages used to be loaded with sacks of flour.  Purism in the bathroom is provided by the washbasin and bath from our design line BetteArt. A statement to timeless functionalism.

The BetteArt washbasins emphasise the clear, purist interior of the bathroom in the private Bradford Windmill, Ottmarsbocholt.
