158 modular flats in Haarlem - sustainable living space with a system
One of the largest modular timber construction projects in the Netherlands is being built in Haarlem in collaboration with Finch Buildings, Elan Wonen, FARO and HBB Groep. The hybrid ensemble comprises 179 rental flats - 158 of which are built using modular timber construction.
The residential units were prefabricated at Maat's factory in Sliedrecht and assembled on site in just a few weeks. Thanks to this method, the construction time, emissions and impact on the neighbourhood were significantly reduced.
158 BetteUltra shower trays in white were used for the project - all equipped with BetteAntiSlip Pro, BetteUpstand and the Minimum tray support. Customised corner solutions were also integrated to meet the requirements of the modular construction concept.
